Steve Waskul and Cogswell College Associate Professor and Director of Game Design and Development Jerome Solomon sit down to discuss his efforts as the SIGGRAPH 2013 Special Sessions Chair and his upcoming role as the SIGGRAPH 2014 Computer Animation Festival Chair. The conversation also hits on industry related topics.

About Jerome

Jerome has 17 years of industry experience in Hollywood. He worked at Industrial Light and Magic, DreamWorks Animation, Electronic Arts, and Rhythm & Hues Studios. During his career, he received film credits on Avatar, Madagascar, Shrek 2, Babe, Ace Ventura II, and Batman & Robin. In addition, Jerome has shipped 3 AAA game titles in Star Wars Force Unleashed, Tiger Woods 07, and The Godfather Game.

Jerome also sits on the National Committee for ACM SIGGRAPH. SIGGRAPH is a world leading computer graphics conference that includes representation from a worldwide selection of large and small studios.

Jerome holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from UCLA and a Masters of Science Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Computer Animation. Jerome has used his technical background, creative talents, and leadership skills to create visuals and lead artists to produce stunning imagery.
